WEBX held their visitors networking breakfast this morning at Weymouth Pavilion.
Local businesses were invited to attend the networking breakfast and discover exactly what WEBX - Weymouth Business Exchange is all about.
WEBX seek to bring local business owners together, connecting them to create a network of businesses that can refer work to one another as and when they have relevant business leads.
With nearly 40 businesses in the room, their was a really buzz and energy as local business owners chatted and got to no one anther before enjoying a full English breakfast overlooking the stunning Weymouth Bay.
Current members of WEBX were invited to share in a 1 minute presentation of their businesses, detailing what their business genre is and the business leads they are seeking to find. This was followed by the visitors 1 minute presentations.
After another chance to mingle, chairman Malcolm Merit invited members and guests to share any business leads they had and a total of 21 business leads were passed between members and visitors.
Thank you's for business for the previous week were received totally nearly £8000 in business referrals invoiced and paid to WEBX members.
Bringing the meeting to a close, members and visitors were invited to mingle and network. It was great to seeing so many businesses remaining in the room, to chat and get to know a little more about each others businesses and services.
