Members of WEBX - Weymouth Business Exchange, joined other local businesses at the Weymouth and Portland Chamber of Commerce Christmas lunch.
MP Richard Drax was in attendance, and the MP was in good spirits following his re-election in the early hours of that morning, following the general election.
Other distinguished guests included the Mayor of Weymouth Town Council, Cllr Graham Winter and Cllr Sue Cockings, Mayor of Portland Town Council.
Pre-drinks allowed guests the opportunity to mingle and network, before attending a 3 course Christmas dinner at The Nook bar and restaurant on Weymouth seafront.
MP Richard Drax addressed the attendees in a speech on the current issues facing local businesses and the community as a whole. This was followed with Q&A's regarding local concerns.
The highly successful Christmas lunch was hosted by Weymouth and Portland Chamber of Commerce President Craig Oakes of Oakes Insure.
