WEYMOUTH BUSINESS EXCHANGE

WEBX (Weymouth Business Exchange) was established in 2014 by some experienced local business owners who like to support the local economy by providing business opportunities, or leads, to other members of the group.

We meet every other Tuesday morning for breakfast and networking at the e-Bike Cafe on the beautiful Weymouth harbour at 7am am.
 

We only allow one member of each profession to join which limits the possibility of any conflict of interest between the professions.

How it works

At every meeting each member presents a very short sales pitch promoting their own business or profession, with a view to fellow members providing 3rd party business leads/opportunities, ideally to other people or businesses from outside the group.

The future

Currently Weymouth Business Exchange (WEBX) has around 20 members and would like to grow this number, as we know that the more members there are the more business is generated! Visitors are therefore very welcome to come and have a look at how the concept works, by attending one of the meetings, where visitors are invited to do a one minute pitch! This is a great opportunity to promote their business even if they decide that they cannot commit to joining!

Our constitution permits charitable giving and sponsorship, mainly for local good causes.
