Nantes Solicitors Ltd, members of WEBX (Weymouth Business Exchange) hosted the business volleyball tournament on 25th July on Weymouth beach in support of Weldmar Hospice.

Cherise Luke-Bennett of Nantes Solicitors organised the event and commented ‘We had a fantastic turn out at the event from both players and supporters.

32 business teams entered the tournament. Everyone played very well and the Stratton Saxons won the day.

Nantes are delighted to have raised over £500 for Weldmar Hospice and plan to host the event again next summer.

They would like to thank everyone who participated in or supported the event, with special thanks to Weymouth Town Council, Dolphin Design & Print and Peter and Graham from the volleyball club, Darron Garnett who provided the half time entertainment and John Cook from Achievements UK who supplied the medals and trophy”.

WEBX look forward to Nantes 2020 Volleyball Tournament, we may even enter a team!
